The topic you have to research is Coral Reefs.

Your task:

Write and film an editorial on the effect of tourism on Coral Reefs.

Use the Great Barrier Reef as your example.

Within the editorial you are to concentrate on the following issues:

INFORMATION GATHERING STAGE

- The spatial distribution of the selected global environment
- If the relationship between the community and the environment is changing. If so how is the relationship changing?
- State the plans to preserve and protect the Great Barrier Reef. Including the actions of the Government.
APPLYING THE INFORMATION STAGE

- Describe the geographical processes that shape the selected environment
- Describe the relationship between The Great Barrier Reef and the Community (Cairns)
- The way the community has responded to these changes.
YOUR EVALUATION AND APPLICATION OF THE INFORMATION

The way the environment influences the community
Describe the current management of the Great Barrier Reef
How can the Great Barrier Reef become more ecologically sustainable
